Layaway Policy

We offer a 1/3 down [ of total] plus 60 day layaway program. Many of our customers choose to use this option with the understanding that deposits on layaways are non-refundable and all other shipping policys apply.


Shipping Policy

We do our very best to ship fast for you. In fact most often shipping is done usually within 48 of full payment. For payment we accept Bank checks or postal money orders and direct wiring unless you are paying on a layaway plan and other details are previoualy worked out with Diamond strings. Personal checks also accepted with the standard clearing period.


We also accept credit through paypal . [ there is a 2.9 % charge for this service] [ 4% for overseas]


Diamond Strings will ship ground FEDEX to the lower 48 states. Most instruments will run about $45-$55.


This will cover handling and insurance as well.  Please call for international shipping prices.


The buyer will have 48 Hour approval time for inspection upon receipt from the shipper.* In the event that the buyer decides to return the instrument, a refund will be issued for the full amount minus all shipping costs on the sellers end. A check will be issued upon the successful return of the instrument in the same condition that it was originally sent . All instruments must be sent back fully insured. Please keep in mind that we have an almost perfect rate of successful transactions. we do our best to describe all instruments in detail and if you are not happy we are not either. We have many satisfied repeat customers from around the globe.

* This does not mean an instrument must be shipped back within 48 hours, But, this does mean that you have 48 hours upon receipt from the company that delivers the instruments to you to inspect it thoroughly and even do a gig with it if you feel you need or want to. The time limit of 48 hours is firm. This applies to all customers with no exceptions. Should the customer feel the need to have it inspected elsewhere this allows enough time to do so as this can be set up before hand. Mr. Diamond must be contacted within 48 hours to discuss any problem and work out details. This means , that in the event of minor problems such as an adjustments or something similar that can be resolved by the buyer working out this by phone with Mr. Diamond personally. [or else by a local repair shop or qualified technician.]. Diamond Strings strongly suggests before purchasing, that all items are described personally to seller by phone with the said item in hand, before an item is shipped. We do not wish to waste time shipping and restocking instruments so we do our best to accurately and honestly describe all sales prior by phone [ not email]. Diamond Strings is a highly qualified expert repair shop and goes over each instrument twice before shipping. [once before it goes on the inventory list and again prior to shipping] However, some things are subjective to the new owner's discretion, and there are times when things just naturally get loose on older instruments. Although this has never happened, Diamond Strngs reserves the right to not accept instruments back, and highly urges both sides to act with civility in the event of any disagreement.


Bottom line is and always will be that some things cannot be worked out but... and most importantly ...we are not satisfied, if you aren't.
